A note for the traveller who refuses to compromise

I have always believed that travel is an art form — a way of discovering not only the world around us, but something within ourselves.

The Carryline began with two women who shared a love of travel, a passion for beautiful details, and a deep appreciation for the stories gathered along the way. Whether wandering through bustling markets, exploring hidden villages, travelling for business, or collecting memories from faraway places simply for the joy of it, we were continually inspired by the people, cultures, textures, and moments that made each journey unforgettable.

But we also noticed something missing. The bags we carried were often functional, but rarely personal. They did the job, but they lacked the character, creativity, and meaning we longed for.

So together, we began shaping a different kind of travel companion. I brought my love of sewing, thoughtful construction, and bringing ideas to life through carefully chosen fabrics and details. Laurel brought her gift for storytelling, connection, and understanding how a beautiful product can speak to the woman carrying it. Together, we combined our strengths to create a collection designed with heart, purpose, and a sense of arrival.
